Trump Post Election News.

I see your point, but I disagree for the simple fact that the hatred of Trump was engineered once and the system can just do it again.
You ignore what it cost them to engineer it. Literally media credibility crumbled like nothing else has ever done. I don't think they can do it again.

I'd rather lose than gain a victory that results in what might as well be a defeat.
There are a ton of options that would be a victory. DeSantis? Victory. Rand Paul? Victory. Ron Paul? You'd win forever. Note that the establish hates them too, they just hate them less than Trump. They'd support anyone against Trump at this point, which means that the other candidate would own the establishment, rather than the other way around. And I could go on. But yeah, there's a ton of options that would win.

He's got two more years to see if the stars ever fall in his favor. Let's see what surprises there's in store for that.

He single handed tanked the midterms. What sort of falling stars are you waiting for, a blazing comet that spells out "DUMP HIM" as it falls?

Already his efforts have removed more of those that voted to impeach him

Yes, he replaced Peter Meijer with Hilary Scholten, nice going Trump.

Pelosi is out.

Barely, and entirely in spite of Trump's efforts.

No offense, but that all sounds like wishful thinking to me.

Then don't vote for him come the GOP nomination. The stars are what else plagues the US to affect change.

I don't know who they are. Liz Cheney meanwhile is gone.

If she's out she's out.
Pelosi is barely and temporarily out. And yes, he obviously controls the base, no one is disputing that. It's also near useless in a general and irrelevant.
I'd have to see in the two years if they'll do nothing or something to tell because of more RINOs.

I'd like to see an outsider come in. One that can attack like Trump, and is also able to gain Trump's favor to some degree.

THEN I'd like to see Trump become this person's VP.

Trump could bulldog all he wants then! And everyone would be afraid to assassinate the President b/c Trump would be next! :p
No one that threatens Trump's presidency by being popular enough to win is going to gain his favor.

See: DeSantis. Who is clearly not establishment, and has been knocking it out of the park in Florida. Trump attacked him because he's a threat to Trump.

Blaming it all on Trump just makes me think you people are incapable of recognizing the issues that render damn near your whole political party toxic. He's not solely responsible for the failure of the promised "Red Wave"; though I will grant you he probably didn't help, impulsive jackass that he is. No; the main culprit is the fact that the Republicans, by and large, are controlled opposition. They can talk a big game every once in a while; but aside from exceptions like DeSantis, I struggle to tell the difference between them and the Democrats.

Again, this has nothing to do with "can Trump win a general?" He can't.

No offense, but that all sounds like wishful thinking to me.
Really? Where's the lie? Did you not notice that ratings for the MSM have dived? Do you really think that DeSantis, he of the so-called "Don't Say Gay" bill that the media tried to highlight and fell on their face about, the guy who kept Florida mostly open despite the establishment yelling at him about it, is a establishment darling?

He's still going to do it unless someone successfully contests him as the GOP nominee.

Mcconnel intentionally sabotaged candidates of their election funding to keep MAGA out.

I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I mean sure; the same tactics they used to prejudice people against Trump might not work anymore, but I doubt they're just going to give up and let someone who actually gives a crap about the American people in to try and fix things without a fight.

Who did he sabotage, exactly?

"The GOP is toxic because they're functionally the same as democrats, which is why they lost the midterms in close races to....people that are basically the same as them"......that doesn't make any sense.

Terms like "Controlled opposition" and "uniparty" are the hallmarks of unserious political commentary.

But DeSantis is just a cleaner candidate. Trump just handed them shit to attack with every other day because he is incapable of shutting up.

Yes the media is going to throw everything they csn out there. But Trump habitually would hand them the gun and the ammo. There were times when all he had to do was be silent and take a win. He could never even do that.

And I'll just throw this out there. If Trump seriously doubles down and starts openly supporting the death penalty for drug dealers, I'm just going to vote for his democrat opponent in 2024.

I think were all going to have much bigger problems soon, as in I am legit surprised things are not more shit then they already are soon.

I'm more concerned about having a military with loyalty to the US constitution.

Pretty much this. Right now our entire military leadership and our whole IC is loyal to China and a bunch of filthy globalists.

What Trump needed to do was vow to shutdown the CIA and the FBI and initiate treason trials. Leak all classified everything and then reboot our entire intelligence apparatus from the ground up.

He didn't do that and that concerns me because it implies he still thinks he can negotiate with people who want is in concentration camps and have actually drawn up plans and run wargrames on how to do just that.
