I wonder....
I just had a thought. Recall the drive by the woke to have villains who are pathetic losers of one stripe of another, usually with the justification that, if they don’t, kids will think the baddies are cool (possible) and thus grow up to be like them (not likely).
Given that there are incidents in various Woke/SJW stories where the villains on occasion make a little too much sense or present some actual good points, I wonder if the two might not be a coincidence.
Either the woke crowd started making their villains pathetic after accidentally giving them good points one time too many- thus making sure that it doesn't happen again.
Or, alternatively, this is being done as a sort of countermeasure.
In that, the woke crowd can have their baddies unintentionally make good points on occasion by accident, but because said antagonists are so pathetic it’ll be easy for the consumer to just dismiss those points out of hand. Both while consuming this woke propaganda and if they come across someone making similar points elsewhere in the real world.
