Kavanaugh however...it seems like all the effort Trump and the GOP went through to get him on the court has been rather wasted. Kavanaugh seems to just follow Roberts lead on everything.

He was Bush's man, and it was Pence's ideal to put him on the court.

The OSHA mandate being struck down is good, but this is not really a day for celebration.

SCOTUS has shown they consider the bodies of Federal workers, or people who work in places with Federal funding, to bbe DC property, and that DC can force any Fed worker to get any medical procedure that the powers in DC want, or lose their jobs.

This is going to set an ugly precedent going forward, both with other Wu Flu vax/mask mandate/requirement cases, and with what it says the Feds can require of their workers.

And remember that the VAST MAJORITY of healthcare businesses will fall under this mandate because "government funding" means medicare and medicaid

yeah I'm not celebrating today. A shitty thing was still allowed to happen.

This is how conservatives lose and think they're winning

I guess groups like the Shriners Hospitals, and other religiously operated hospitals/medical providers might be the only ones who are not really under the thumb of this ruling.

Now, only good and loyal regime supporters will be allowed to work in the public medical field, which has dire implications for most healthcare going forward.

This is why I said SCOTUS was not going to save us; until things are changed in Congress, and the mandate/requirement bullshit struck down via those channels, this bullshit will stand.

Our nation is nearly dead, and all that has happened today is a bit of morphine was put into the drip.

Post Office is an Independent Agency, good for me as I just joined it and the Union made it clear the Post Office will shut down if they attempt to force a mandate.

Now time to gloat at all the money I will make now because craft workers in the Post Office who work major cities can effectively make more than their supervisors as we're hourly, the OT pay rules are sweet, and as long as we follow the rules, we can't be fired.

This is something of a win, regardless. The trick, as ever, is conservatives needing to understand how to push properly and then keep pushing.
It's not a win. The Democrats never expected OSHA mandate to stick. This is just how they end up getting what they wanted while conservatives shout victory.

We got played.

This is no time to wave the victory flag. The president just got his healthcare mandates and now to make up for the shortage of workers we are going to have COVID positive people working. Because that's better than unvaccinated people working.

This isn't a win, and it's barely above a complete loss; the OSHA shit was never going to fly, but even the Biden Admin thought the HHS/CMS was likely to be tossed as well.

This is a bad precedent that is being set, and because it comes from SCOTUS, the only way to undue it is via Congress, which is...not a place to put much faith or trust.

Now, cases regarding adverse reactions and compensation for them, are the only real way to try to fight back against the HHS/CMS mandates. If docs and nurses will be forced to take the Wu Flu vax, they or their families should also have the ability to sue the government and the vax makers if things go wrong. The EUA for the Wu Flu vaxs needs to be fought in court as well, to remove the shield from the vax makers who rushed their shit to market.

The only reason why antivirals like hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, Remdesivir, and Kaletra were declared ineffective is because the majority of the clinical trials for those drugs enrolled late-stage COVID-19 patients for whom the treatment was fundamentally futile.

viruses-13-00963-g001 (2).jpg

They did not test prophylaxis. They shoved antivirals into people who no longer had any viral load or replication and said "whoops, I guess antivirals don't work, time for a vaccine".

Sapan Desai, the Surgisphere scam artist whose team consisted of a science fiction author and an adult model, published a paper in the Lancet that said that HCQ caused cardiac abnormalities. The paper had to be retracted because the whole thing was a garbage meta-analysis based on datasets they refused to publish.

From the very beginning, antivirals were sabotaged by bad science, and that bad science drove bad policy. Moreover, there are disturbing patterns of intentional fraud that need to be investigated, and there absolutely needs to be criminal prosecution for all of this.

A vid about a kid who was part of the clinical trial, and had a very adverse reaction to the second shot.

Her parent's let her and her brothers be part of the clinical trial, claiming the kids 'volunteered' for it, despite not being able to 'volunteer' for anything, as they are not over 18 yet.

Who in the bollocks submits their children to medical trials? In particular, for a disease that poses bugger all danger to them?

Edit: Yes, this has totally gotten out of hand, and this is from the perspective of someone who takes no issue with vaccines. I myself have had a Pfizer booster about a month ago, and I've no adverse affects to report. But then again, whilst adverse reactions are unlikely, they seem to be happening more than they should. Vaccination is being turned into a religion and it's being shoved on people who don't really need it. Only a rather unfortunate few were ever truly in danger of Covid, and healthy children sure as shit aren't among them.

People who are either terminally ignorant, or care less about their children's health and safety than appeasing an insane ideology.

I can only imagine it's a sort of trust in "the science" (she even said she was "pro-science" which makes me cringe) which, when you've been raised in a society that has replaced God with "scientism" (not the actual scientific method, just the blathering of "experts") is tragically understandable.

You know, I honestly wonder about the effects this will have on social cohesion in a decade or two's time? Because somehow, I get the feeling Gen Alpha will grow up to hate and resent their parents for putting them through years of this when they were still developing.

I certainly think a libertarian streak the length of the river Nile is an end result of all this.
