Honestly, it's probably going to be mostly protestors that are at fault, but it doesn't help that Florida's environment is such that everyone is going to be forced in-doors for most of the day due to the horrific heat and humidity. All it takes is one person spreading it around.

Don't think for a moment they aren't sweating bullets over their own internal polls they don't share or spin.

To be fair the reopening of the various states is a part of the reason for the spike in cases. However unlike the BLM protests/riots doing so was absolutely necessary since we need a functioning economy in order to have a functioning society

Yeah, I've heard the same thing. They like to point at the loosening of restrictions in places like Texas, Florida and Arizona (the states that fully opened). But also ignore that Florida and Texas had crazy riots and half of the total cases in Texas are in prisons (according to Joe Rogan). More importantly, the timelines don't really line up right, Texas opened in early May, but we're seeing the spike now, Floyd didn't even get killed till May 25th! There's around a two week gap between the states opening and the riots, and the riots match the pattern a lot better in terms of both locations and times.
To be clear, opening the states would obviously increase the number of cases, but I think the spikes were caused by the riots.
Oh I'm not saying it did not help, but the riots caused the massive spike.
It doesnt help the leftist news media is pushing that trump's rally made the increase as well
