Ye Are Gods (Sign-up and OOC)

Sounds fun. Hm...

Sun, War and Prophecy, maybe? I was thinking of having the first be the "main" thing, whereas the other two played on the different aspects of it.

That is doable. @Naga The Serpent has Fate under their god's portfolio, however. If you want Prophecy, you two will need to work out the differences between Fate and Prophecy. For example, in a previous iteration of this roleplay on a different site, I played a god of water. When another roleplayer wanted a god of the continent's main river, we agreed that I would change my god's portfolio so he was a sea god only. Another two players agreed to divide War between Civilized Warfare and Barbaric Warfare.

I encourage this. However, aspects come on a first come, first serve basis should there be no agreement.

I would have joined, but school has just started. So I don't have that much free time anymore.

The thing is I got all the classes I wanted with teachers I like so far!
I guess you should stay.

By the way, my god is willing to work with virtually anyone, the only one I can see direct conflict with would be a god of thieves. So if anyone wants help or assistance with things and is willing to pony up a trade or deal he would be likely willing.

By god Fried, you really did make Free Market Jesus!

I've never participated in an RP of this style before, but it seems interesting. I'm thinking about making a deity of the Sky, Advancement, and Invention. "When man looked up and saw the vast expanse of the heavens, he realized the infinite potential before him." Or something like that.

(I know there's some potential overlap with the Knowledge domain of @S'task — but where Intei seems to be about the discovery of raw knowledge, my focus would be on development/technology. The engineering/translational/applied aspect, as opposed to the fundamental/basic science aspect.)

I think that is distinct enough of a difference given that's Knowledge is only part of Intei's domains. I was mainly going for the more classic "God of magic" with the twist of also being a God of shadows, rather than a God of technology.

Someone already claimed for a god of the Forge, so I dunno, considering the stuff I was told you'd also have to discuss with 'em?

'S cool. If that's the case I'd rather avoid stepping on toes -- I wanted to go with an Apollo-like vibe, but, hm. . .

Well, I can veer closer to another of my inspirations, drop Prophecy and use Truth instead -- the scorching sun that takes life is also one that illuminates the way, play with that for a judicial type.

So, Sun, War, Truth, with the later two flowing from the former.

I am indeed the god of Making Shiny Cool Things. Intended to create the dwaves, who are estranged from me after I literally died.
Is it possible seeing as you became dead, that your living position was in effect ceded and a new god of that domain among the living took on that aspect while you retain that power even as a dead god? Does that make sense?
