So whats the scale of the map, actually? Earth sized? It'll be important for setting down features and estimating populations.

The scale of the map currently includes a portion of another continent cut off from the rest of the map so it doesn't appear to be quite earth sized. I envision several hundred thousand to a million within my civ.

I mean Avatars pretty much count I feel.

Random Kobolds are pretty different. Although I guess if they were on the dinner table...

I always imagined that our continents were in the ballpark of Eurasia, or so. Each of the large islands is probably a full continent?

A ruthless pirate character tailor made to be a villain in any maritime adventure someone had in mind. Let me know if you need a big spooky pirate king for something, we can work out a story.
Hero: Captain Donough
Abilities: Donough is a naturally talented psychic if a rudimentary one, granting him preternatural awareness and an increased physicality. Besides this, he is a fearsome hand in the press of deck-fighting. What makes Donough far more dangerous than he might otherwise be however is his ship, Dulaman, an enchanted warship virtually unsurpassed on the seas, more than that, a living sea monster of wood and copper armed with an enourmous ballista.
Personality: Black Hearted and cunning, Captain Donough is a terror from the North Sea who will boldly push into any waters that hold loot and even ocassionally raid the coastline. He covets supernatural power and items most of all, seeking to bootstrap himself to greater heights than a mere mortal could attain. His thirst for personal power drives him more than any base desire.

Here's a secondary evil pirate captain working for the first, helming a remarkably swift ship though packing far less in the way of hardware. She could make a good secondary antagonist (or primary, if you want to operate at a scale inapropriate for a "giant medieval battleship") or even ally of opportunity.
Hero name: Captain Dearg
Abilities: Dearg uses her natural psionic powers to make her a more dangerous combatant in boarding actions, navigate more effectively, and sway the feelings of those around her to her advantage. She's a daunting combatant, but decidedly inferior to Donough. Her ship the Fear Gorta is light and swift as the wind, built for combat, though without the fantastical structure or armament of the Dulaman.
Personality: Dearg is a woman who has used wit and viciousness to survive in an environment where many men perish. She has made her way by daring where others would not, by taking risks, and doing the impossible. Recklessness and hard pragmatism wrestle inside her over her decisions. She is as loyal as pirates come to Donough, she understands he is the last person anyone on the sea wants as an enemy.

Here's a hero that I think would do well as an ally on any quest or adventure, a supernatural shapeshifting spearman with a good, loyal nature.
Hero: Puca Lyr
Abilities: a preternaturally strong and agile warrior of the forest, Puca is a powerful man wielding a spear designed to pierce enchantments. He himself has some minor powers of his own to tip the scales in his favor, but his primary means of attack or defense is the arms he carries. He is himself something of a shapeshifter, able to take the form of a beast or large bird at will. While not fond of the beating sun, he is more resistant to it than his kin.
Personality: Puca is friendly for one of his people, indeed something of an oddity among them, which he attributes to an odd and supernatural heritage that may be an invention of his own devising, or genuine. He is filled with an explorers spirit and travels the world, seeking adventure. He is proud and cocksure, with a mischievous streak.

Just so everybody knows, I have been concocting a list of names that Perzawlkhan uses to refer to the other gods in her people's language that I will have her be using throughout.

These names do have meanings behind them, which may be revealed as the roleplay continues.
