Ye Are Gods (Sign-up and OOC)

It seems like a good reason for the slow shift toward the inner sea being the center of civilization, too. (Beyond the geography and who lives there, obviously, but it seems like they're only recently starting to make inroads into the continent)

I would agree. Working on my nation, need to iron out its history especially in regards to other players. And get my military and economy together. Got any ideas for what I should do, anyone?

I'll offer it again since a lot of new people have joined;

Would anyone be interested in a weapon constructed by the Forge God, either before or after their Death?

I'm also open to talking about any relations we could have by DMs or here.

Did she also forge utility items, or just weapons? If the first then I had an idea for a magic compass or other navigational tool similar to Jack Sparrow's, ie it points to what the holder wants/needs most. The artifact would have originally been Koy's, but was later "indefinitely borrowed" by Mati.

In other news, I've come up with a few solid possibilities for Koy's mutilation, if their writers are interested.

First major possibility is @Yukitama 's Tauphys; as Koy spent much of his life upsetting the natural order and helping the weak dab on the strong it's possible he annoyed the god of strength and natural order.

Secondly I like all three of @Shipmaster Sane 's gods, but would need to know which you're going for before working out further details.

Thirdly was the suggestion that his mutilator be unknown or be the result of collateral damage, which could be a nice fallback plan.

I was thinking a sort of crow/corvid god, semi-Native American theming, possibly a god of thieves in that respect.

Speaking of which, is there a god of thieves yet? I don't see one in the index.
There is no outright god of thieves, though @khatun has a civilization that pretty much exports pirates. Thievery is not outright taken though.

You would be the last to join. I am running out of white on the map.

I am planning on starting Sunday or Monday right now. I won't start any later.

For the economy, wine and olive oil can be good commodities. Manufacturing/craftsmanship could be a good niches to think about since, I could see your culture prizing the work of one's own hands.

As for military, there is nothing wrong about stealing from Greek city-states and adding your own touches to it.

She forged both, sounds good on my end.

@almostinsane I had asked a few pages back if 'thieves' was taken because I wanted to have Aiyami be god of thieves as a counter to Artis due to the marriage fallout DX

I can drop it if you want me to though. (Also almost done with sheet I think, sorry I'm taking so long x.x)

Sorry about that, @khatun. Sometimes it's hard for me to keep track.

@Draco-182 Do you have another idea?

I think I'll go with Vaad and the Hold of the Mighty, just give me a little time to look into the surroundings to decide which bit of coast I want to grab.

And probably limited trading of exotic goods due to the colonies, alongside maybe even education/learning/etc?

That can work. Go for it. Don't worry about stepping on anyone's toes. The Avuvians export ships and focus a lot on the sea trade and that works even with Novo Yoro being the center of wealth and trade since trade is a big factor in Ashariel's economy at this current time in history.

Essentially another part of their great trade network?
