Well yeah completely understandable, if you throw out lots of hate you end up fearing the day when what you put out comes back to you. You will notice that the lefties that dont engage in really hateful behavor dont feel nearly as scared do they?

Just postulating here:
I'm now seeing a theory (archive thread here) that Joe is a kind of sacrificial lamb for the Democrats to pave the way for a full-scale meltdown after Trump appears to win.
As for these terrified Redditors, most will probably be insulated from the full truth. But imagine how much more panicked the ones who realize that Joe was roped into the candidacy both to obscure the true damning extent of his families corruption, and to set off a possible civil war will be.

Correction, he sent a letter to the, in his words, "Biden Debate Commission". I love that he just says outright what they actually are, and doesn't even pretend that they're not propping up his opponent. None of this weak-willed, dancing around the issue so many Republicans insist on doing for the cameras; even on Fox News.

Well they also tend to think Trump's base is mostly Far-Right and ultra-Far-Right folks, which is plainly false.

If Trump not being Pinochet gets someone demoralized, then the problem is with them, not Trump.
