I am all for saying fuck you to China, BUT it isn't that big of a fuck you, they still make money off of American Athletes....

The world is already on a downward spiral, and fucking over china works wonders

China is also leaning into this though. Xi knows that trade relations are going to end. It's only a matter of when. His best bet is to try and blame America for the collapse in relations. Currently, analysts believe that Xi might try and use this as an excuse to escalate tensions, so he can consolidate power internally. We can't be sure that this will happen, we can only watch and see what happens in January.

I mean, there is plenty of ways for people to know, just not easy and not much until later for the civilian world

I don't think there is, honestly. I know our military is waiting for the shoe to drop, because there is a growing escalation. It all comes down to whether or not Xi is willing to make the choice to break relations at that time (which requires a vast away of operations to be taken into account) and if he can spin it into something that will benefit him on the homeland. It just depends on how ugly things get. There are too many moving pieces to really know what will happen when we reach January.

It may be this simply blows over with the Chinese huffing and puffing about Americans being jerks. Or it changes the geopolitical situation for generations to come.

Or Xi may wait to see what happens in the US 22 midterms, before making a move.

If a Red Wave does not materialize for some reason, then he may not feel he has to worry about the US matching his, or his rogue military leadership's, escalations.

Making a move around the Olympics impacts the CCPs image negatively, due to possibly interfering with the games; Xi probably won't make any moves until after the elections.

FBI raids homes of Mesa County Clerk and Recorder Tina Peters and Lauren Boebert’s former campaign manager

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Early Tuesday morning the Federal Bureau of Investigation executed search warrants at four locations in western Colorado.

According to Mesa County District Attorney Dan Rubinstein, the state attorney general’s office and local authorities conducted the searches Tuesday in Mesa and Garfield Counties. The court-ordered search was part of an investigation of alleged election security breaches conducted by Mesa County officials.

Mesa County Clerk and Recorder Tina Peters did confirm her home was searched. A statement was released from her legal defense fund early Wednesday morning stating, “Today large teams of heavily armed federal agents, using a battering ram to break down doors, raided the homes of Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters and several of her friends and colleagues, mostly elderly women in their mid 60s. This is a level of weaponization of the Justice Department we haven’t seen since the McCarthy era. Thank God Tina wasn’t protesting critical race theory at a Virginia school board meeting or they might have brought two battering rams.”

Tuesday night Peters did appear on Lindell TV, a channel ran by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell to speak about the raid. According to Colorado Politics, Peters also spoke on Lindell’s channel saying, “The FBI raided my home at 6 a.m. this morning, accusing me of committing a crime. And they raided the homes of my friends, mostly older women. I was terrified.” She continued by saying authorities searched her house for “about three hours” and “took all of my electronics,” including her phone. She went on to say, “You know, I refuse to give up. I’m more scared than ever because of the tactics they are doing for an innocent person who was just doing her job.”

According to 9News, Lindell said Garfield County resident Sherronna Bishop, Lauren Boebert’s former campaign manager, also had her home searched on Tuesday. We have reached out for comment but have not heard back at this time.

Peters and her associates are being investigated for an alleged security breach involving elections equipment in Mesa County earlier this year. Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s office is conducting an internal investigation of Peters, as well as the FBI, 21st Judicial District Attorney’s office, and the Colorado Attorney General’s office who are conducting a criminal investigation of Peters.

Wednesday afternoon, Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser and 21st Judicial District Attorney Dan Rubinstein released the following statement:

“Yesterday, the 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office and the Colorado Attorney General’s Office—along with our FBI partners—conducted authorized enforcement actions in support of an ongoing investigation into the alleged election system breach in Mesa County. We have reviewed a statement from Tina Peters’ legal defense fund that claims a level of force during the execution of this joint federal-state law enforcement operation. At no time was force used on Ms. Peters or her home. Ms. Peters was allowed to move around her home and fix herself breakfast while agents gathered items before departing. We are issuing this statement to clear up inaccuracies about what occurred during yesterday’s enforcement action. We will continue to conduct a thorough investigation based on facts and the law, including using proper law enforcement tools such as the judicially authorized search that was executed properly in this matter.”

They are intentionally driving up oil prices and the prices of basic goods, in order to force a 'transition' away from hydrocarbons.

That's why they are selling the strategic petrol reserve to Asia, that's why they are trying to drive up the price of oil in every way possible, and why they don't care what happens to the plebs while they do it.

To be fair the IRS has needed a lot more manpower for a long time
Inverse situation, really.
The tax code has needed simplification into something less manpower intensive for both filers and auditors for a long time. This doesn't happen because...Congress loves 'incentivizing' things, subsidizing things, calling-out the effects of those subsidies and incentives, rewriting the code to account for the (perceived) negative externalities of those incentives and subsidies, and repeating the process from the beginning.
(With lots of fun corruption opportunities notable within the above process)
