This seems to be a mixture of China's house of cards starting to topple, and a lot of witless corpos realising just what sort of totalitarian lunacy they'd got into bed with. I hope the ball keeps rolling!
Presumably related to the whole Evergrande fiasco? I'd assume China is trying to limit the alternative ports money can go to try and shore-up the domestic real estate stuff that's having problems...But that's my two-bit vague understanding speaking. And it probably also aligns with lots of the CCPs goals of better tracking and ability to seize assets of whatever latest rich person they disappear.China bans Cryptocurrency with its Central Bank declaring all transactions using such currencies, including bitcoin, as illegal and criminal activity.
Last I heard, the CCP was looking at limiting people(presumably only those with connections would be able to do so) who could trade in Bitcoins, so this is a bit surprising.Presumably related to the whole Evergrande fiasco? Not until the US and India also ban Crypto currency.Wonder if this means graphics cards are finally going to come down now...
At the very least, the secondhand market is probably going to be flooded with inventory soon.Wonder if this means graphics cards are finally going to come down now...
I am playing the world's smallest violinManufacturers located inside of Chinese industrial hubs that supply companies such as Intel, Nvidia, Apple, Tesla and Qualcomm are being impacted by government mandated power shutdowns to ostensibly help reduce carbon emissions (but also to drive down the price of coal allegedly). Theae shutdowns are expected to last days at a time but are affecting different hubs disproportionately.

Some manufacturing facilities will keep operating.www.tomshardware.com
Needless to say this may further impact the supply of computer parts and components worldwide.
In some ways yes, in other ways...shit.I am playing the world's smallest violin
