They can’t move them.I don't understand the Ukrainian insistence on keeping some of their best forces at the Donbass front. Like seriously their capital is under siege what's the point in staying there and risking being encircled?
Sounds a hell of a lot better than CNN if you ask me.Excuse me, are you trying to convince me that a podcast run by a leftist activist of very long record going way beyond even the Russia\Crimea stuff who happens to be taking Russian state money through RT and Sputnik is an objective source?

So about that War going on...

Slovakia Could Give Soviet-Era Defense System to Ukraine

Well... 2, 3, and 4 are just wrong.
So I wouldn't put much stock in anything else this guy has to say.
You should really realize that you going "Oh this Russian Twitter Bot says otherwise" isn't actually you proving anybody wrong about things.Nor should we put much stock in you as you been consistently proven wrong. You were for Snake Island story after it was proven false. You were for the VDV failed at Hostomel despite it being bullshit and a Ukrainian Officer outright stating they failed to retake it. You also can't grasp that Ukraine lost the war. All it is doing is prolonging the inevitable and getting teenagers ground up. The sanctions will not work and the Saudis are now leaning to selling oil for Yuans.
That's literally a map made by some random Russian's...

1. It was actual video evidence plus the Ukrainian MoD's own public statement, plus a WSJ article. Try again Comrade. You should really realize that you going "Oh this Russian Twitter Bot says otherwise" isn't actually you proving anybody wrong about things.
That's literally a map made by some random Russian's...
4 Ka-52s lost so far, well below their replacement rate.
Also, Oryx's list is incomplete, has known errors, and means nothing, which was pointed out pages ago. If we grant 100% accuracy to his lists, Russia could easily afford 5 to 1 losses and come out ahead, that and as the Russian MoD releases more video evidence, it is becoming clear the UkA has lost more men and vehicles than Russia has. Kherson Base alone was a Brigade Base containing Divisional Assets and was overran pretty quickly with its vehicles and ammo captured and its Garrison basically disintegrating. Also a good 70,000 of the UkA's troops are trapped in pockets, 10,000 alone in Mariupol. As those close, Russia will be getting the bulk of their gear back and UkA will be losing the bulk of its professional troops.
Finally, Ukraine is throwing teenagers on the front with just 3 days training and is short on rifles and ammunition. Russian Recruits are being sent in with a minimum of 6 months training. Also the Foreign Legion got wiped, and Ukraine's ability to make and distribute war material is being systematically destroyed.
More reinforcements. Putin is making it clear that he will have victory. A clear and decisive one.
Communication issues aside, it could be a doctrinal thing of wanting senior officers to see things for themselves instead of sitting behind a desk and relying on reports. This does fit into the picture of an army that structurally didn't change that much since WW2, and the communications equipment problems demonstrate why it couldn't even if it wanted to.
After all, during WW2 some allied and axis generals alike had to show up close to the frontlines personally and ended up playing glorified traffic cop on occasions, notably including Patton.
No, it wasn't, it was video of the reinforcements getting captured.
So there's vid of an ambush on 2 Russian T-72's in Mariupol.
Not even close. Its one, the commander actually got out and took cover though it looked like his left leg was injured. And judging by lack of fires, it was a bait Tank deliberately sacrificed for this purpose. I heard of its use in Chechnya, and it was an effective way to get the Chechs to reveal locations before columns went in. Sucked to be the commander and driver picked for the job. Driver can use the escape hatch and hide under the hull till the follow up team comes to extract him if the commander didn't order the UR-77 to just level the street instead. The commander has to bail and risk MG fire. The gunner was pulled out, and since his controls are duplicated on the commander's side, he can fire the Coax to entice the ambush.
Russian logic here is to lose one tank instead of having a fully topped Tank get hit and trap forward motion and the rear vehicle get hit in the back. The Tank will be picked up and sent to Depot, it will be back. Russia has thousands more in storage.
