Star Wars Star Wars Discussion Thread - LET THE PAST D-! Oh, wait, nevermind

Yeah, these foreign takes look cool and all, but I don’t think anything can replace the good old, “All American!” version we got in real life.

Now, I’d still be open to trading the Sequels for fully fleshed-out versions of the adaptations seen here, if the choice were up to me. Might also be interested in how “British” or “Canadian” Star Wars would look, as well, if anyone has the wherewithal to world-build those — assuming no one’s published anything already. 🧐

Oh I know.
But I meant in regards to creating my own using the simple term of Dieselpunk wars
Here's a guide to setting it up on your system. It includes links to several training packages, troubleshooting, and a lot of hints and tips that will let you run your own personal AI artist, even train it to make the types of images you want.

Yeah, my understanding is they riffed off of a bunch of real-world weaponry and military vehicles, what with E-11 blasters resembling Sterling submachine guns and such. Wasn't as aware the A-wing was basically kitbashed together from two fighter craft, though, so thanks for the tip-off.

I wasn't aware either till today, but looking at a F-14 model and an A-Wing model now I can see they used two upper halves of the F-14s main body fuselage pressed together back-to-back to make the A-Wings nose structure.

Which is really ironic considering the Tomcat was almost the antithesis of what the A-Wing was meant to be, in terms of combat ability/purpose.

If you have not seen the 1st two episodes of the Bad Batch watch them first. But I will say they were pretty good.

I liked this new season, though I was somewhat disappointed in how cliched Rampart's reaction was to the events.

Since we do not see Rampart in later series. I think it is safe to say he will get Vadered in a season or two.

Another thing about the episode I like is that It shows that Wrecker just pretends to be dumb. He is more than likely almost as smart as tech is. Just when it comes to weapons and how to make them.

Rian Johnson essentially admitted in recent interviews that he was trying to kill the Star Wars franchise with The Last Jedi; talking about his disdain for the very concept of intellectual property and franchises, and wanting to give it an ending akin to a "Viking funeral" that left no room for continuation.

There seems to be a fair amount of that going around lately, IE American version of the infamous "Cultural Revolution" that China had.

Yeah, we all know how that went...

You do know he let Carroe Fisher have part in writing the script right?
