It's Disney SW. Even at its best, it's like spraying air freshener over and around a rotting pile of garbage.

Yeah -- even if the novel itself is up to the standard of the best of the old EU stuff, the plot, setting, and characters are still fundamentally Disney Wars.

It'd take a real word-smith to make something good out of that rotting faeces.

My thoughts exactly. Plus there’s the fact that Disney just doesn’t GET Star Wars, even without the ‘Force is Female’ nonsense and so on and so forth.

Any money given to Disney Star Wars will be used to prop up their new Rey movie. to quote them "let the past die". let them flounder with the property for a few more years until they sell it off at a major loss. worst case? read some of the older legends stuff to hold you over till then.

Oh heard of the "Rey Movie" lol.

I have all of the legends in Audiobook (as far as I know). This seemed interesting because there's Luke and Lando.

Also, remember what I suggested to do when shit went down with Battletech and Blaine Pardoe last August? I would do the same. Because I refuse to give any of my euros to the rat-run company.
