Honestly? Who knows. Some people don't show the infection, some people are never tested. It's endemic so really it could be now most people are vaccinated or have been exposed (or both).

Isn’t home schooling also illegal in Sweden too? Just asking since I did see a video where a Swedish family moved to Finland for better home schooling opportunities.
Call it "not funny" all you like, but when modern Germany is acting exactly like how 20's and 30's Germany did but with another "undesirable" part of their population? So much for authoritarianism not being ingrained in their national DNA, eh?

Yes and no. In Sweden we have "skolplikt" (school duty) whereas in Finland they have "undervisningsplikt" (teaching duty). The long and short of it is, in Finland it doesn't matter much whether the teaching is done at home or in a school, whereas in Sweden you need to apply for a special exception to be allowed to conduct schooling outside of an actual school. Unfortunately, the people in charge of approving or rejecting the homeschooling applications are made up of political appointes and they are liable to say no in 99% of cases. So homeschooling in Sweden is not illegal, but it's damn near impossible to get approved unless you have some very hefty reasons for doing so (e.g., the child has a compromised immune system, or the family is living under lethal threat from gangs, or something otherwise life threatening). Because of this, a lot of families try to move to Åland, a district of self-governing islands belonging to Finland where pretty much everyone speaks Swedish, so they can have their homeschooling.
The political opinion on the matter looks to be slowly changing as a result of the pandemic and the forced distance schooling that's gone down as a result, but it's likely to still be a number of years before anything really changes for the average citizen.

So my father is trying to pressure me to get the shot so 'I can re-enter society', because he believes all the vax propaganda and doesn't want to look too hard at the details, given he already had his 3rd shot and learning bad news about what he put in himself is not something he cares to think about.
I told him no, I'm not taking the Wu Flu shots, and that court cases are backing me up on this. He relented, but I can tell he wants me to get the shots because he buys all the 'good news' about them and doesn't care if forced/coerced vax's violate our Constitutional Rights.

my problem is that the government has clearly proven this isnt about public health but about power because we have seen the goal posts move too many times already.
So now I'm at the point where I think they need to fuck off and let people make their own decisions because seriously fuck em.
He doesn't care, he just wants to take care of my grandfather and enjoy his retirement as much as possible, and he sees me not being vaxxed as getting in the way of allowing us to travel by plane or do things in locked down areas where they are making you show papers.
I mean shit, Denver Metro has the fucking mask mandates forced on us again due to the 'omicron' scare and the businesses are 'reminding' people to where a mask again.
I want out of this state, or at least this city, so bad, but cannot leave due to family obligations.
