Breaking News Feds bust alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer

But they don't for the same reason state police are going after citizens who protect themselves from rioters. Unless the current policy completely reverses itself, a civil war is better than not having one, a million dead included.

unless of course you know lose said war. Then not only do you have a million dead on your hands, but you've doomed them and the living in the process.

So, leftist anarchists tried to kidnap a leftist tyrant by the sound of it? In that case I dont really feel any sympathy for any party.

I assume shes one of those that supports extra judicial punishment by mob justice? If so, had this plan worked she would have gotten exactly ehat she deserved.

my point is if you fight a war, have a sucide pack on stand by. a no capture poilcy used to be standard

Here in America, that's called 'the gun I'm already fighting the war with.' If you get that desperate, and the people you're fighting against are actually pushing you to the wall, 'save the last bullet for yourself' is how it used to be put.

And I still don't see how her swift, authoritative response to a no-shit pandemic situation,

Pandemic? But Democrats assured me it was "just the flu bro".

in the absence of effective leadership from our esteemed Commander-in-Chief, can be called dictatorial let alone any kind of justification for attempted political violence and terrorism.

Yes, by far left terrorists.

Whitmer isn't marching jackbooted thugs down the streets of Lansing, gassing and shooting peaceful protestors, or arbitrarily having her political opponents jailed, tortured, or shot. If you think her actions are "dictatorial", then you need a reality check and multiple history lessons.

They are absolutely dictatorial. She's crippled the State of Michigan's economy. Nearby states with far less restrictions did much better than she did. And clearly her method isn't working, because even though Michigan's caseload is lower than say Wisconsin and Illinois, the COVID-19 death rates are almost seven times higher than Wisconsin's, about twice as high as Indiana, and only trailing Illinois by 2,000 deaths. And Illinois has roughly double the discovered cases.

So how is the brilliant Governor so great in her "swift, authoritative" response when all the states around hers had less restrictions and far less deaths? I mean, she couldn't even beat out fucking Ohio. Ohio for Christ's sake.

Surprise, surprise. I guess banning the sale of fucking seeds and paint doesn't save lives. Most business had already adopted masks, social distancing, and limited service long before the Governors actually acted.

So they'll keep the few participants, who weren't informers, in jail for couple of more years, until they they can force them to confess to some procedural BS charges, so the agents in charge can write it up as a win?
