But which ones? There are the normally ordered 250 in newest variant, planned before the war, and at least 30 or so are meant to arrive this year. Then there are the rumored older variant 300 meant to be sent as replacement for sending PT-91's to Ukraine.

The ones ordered in the latest variant albeit alas the bulk of those are getting delivered next year.
Not a big difference, it's not like the other tanks in the running like Leo 2 and K2 are cheap to operate. This is a match between expensive and a bit more expensive. If the 300 are on some kind of military aid or lease deal rather than full price it may even turn out cheaper.
