And i like how people seem to eat up Russian propaganda here instead of looking and comparing the Ukrainian to the Russian stuff and noticing Ukraine often has images or videos supporting them.

Sure, and that would be one pocket out of, well, at least 3 basically with the fall of Kiev, 4-5 if other pushes win. Advantage of the offensive, and having internal lines is the ability to defeat in detail. Plus, with Kiev taken all ukrainian forces not in Liev would be cut off from much easy further resupply, and modern combat formations trying to engage in active combat burns through material quite quickly.

Yeah as I said yesterday two days from start to reach kiev. Last night they were 20 miles out, by now they reached the city.

Fighting has died down in Kiev as Russians have not taken it yet AFAIK

To be blunt, the Europeans can’t fight, and if germany is cut off from Russian fuel, they get to experience life without electricity, and the US will defend poland, and maybe the Baltic but anything beyond that is not Feasible.

It seems pretty well confirmed that two Russian IL-76 Transports were shot down and both likely occupied with paratroopers and resulting in potentially over a hundred plus casualties.

Also President Zelensky has refused a US offer to evacuate him from Kiev.



Here is what Ukraine is summarizing as far as the second full days events.



The Mayor of Vasylkiv has stated a success in countering a landing operation South of Kiev.



Some are claiming upwards of 3500 Russian fatalities but many remain skeptical



And yes another Japanese Ship is reportedly damaged by hostile fire. The originator is unclear.
