Explain this policy more.
A life insurance policy you get paid out a sum on death to surviving family members in exchange for smaller payments made while living. What I can see as a business is myconids paying people for guaranteed access to their corpse on death. Or potentially, a corpse for recreational, medicinal and food mushroom trade between us. It would be highly profitable on both our ends. You can't normally make much money off a dead body in your possession, its in fact a cost to bury, takes up valuable land in graveyards. A trade would make what is nominally a liability and an operational cost into an asset and a profit.

I'd be interested in such a deal as well, for the interests of my nation.

Nice. I've got an idea, am I free to reserve a god of Survival, Ingenuity, and Hordes? My rough idea is a big dragonoid god who was nearly killed in the long past, and has hence gone from presenting his aspects as adaptable practicality to presenting them in the form of paranoid isolationism. Rarely leaves his divine realm, and is worshiped by backstabbing subterranean kobolds and other general underdogs. His heroes are a split between cutthroat leaders of his small communities and adventurers of other lands being groomed for "harvest". Basically, he empowers and subtly guides adventurers so they gather magical goodies and general items of value, then walks them into traps set by his favored people to keep a steady supply to their growing subterranean hordes. This is all spitballing ideas but that's what sprung to mind.

Edit- to clarify I mean Hordes of valuables, not as in hordes of creatures.

Just know that Myconids can only offer what they can produce. So corpses would have to be traded for a variety of fungi.

Wow, there's been some activity since I left off, huh!

Not sure, which is why I was talking with you. We can hardly have most of the gods be unconnected and similar portfolios, they could be at the Lonestar-Darth Helmet level of connection or anything.
Mm, as I mentioned earlier, a professional relationship is without a doubt happening. Although, as your sheet does say that you work with higher, more abstract levels of "Civilization," as well as wishing mortals on their own way most of the time, there would be differences in opinion, I suppose. It honestly depends on how you act when the chips are down, like in the God Wars, when DeTA or similar threats breach containment, etc

It's the difference between "friendly coworker" and "someone that I can actually trust with the kids when I go to the hospital," I think.
Let me describe this. Above the Collective there’s still some space left. I was thinking if the Collective could expand to the left half of it. But it’s at an angle. So the right side is a point and then it begins expanding right after the Huntlands to the left.
Yikes, man, how big is your kingdom gonna be lmao

You already have that continent spanning mountain range, you gonna try to be the Kingdom Down Under or something? Leave some room for new apps :V
Hey, so for anyone who actually has centralized proper laws, would you be open to followers of Ti An being part of your lands in order to improve, uphold, and properly mete out the law? Basically people who help prop up police forces/lawyers/judges and more.
Yeah, this should be good. A lot of gods seem to have fairly wide presences, anyways, like Reimu's death cults, so it should be fine, especially with how cosmopolitan Sephirah's shaping up in my head
Would anyone be interested in joining the not-Argonauts? We'd be the group of Heroes and Avatars who joined up to oppose @DeTA and his Demon King during his first resurgence, after the Gods left the material world. It would've happened a long, long time ago.
Yeah, I think so, my would-be Avatar would be part of this squad imo

II'm thinking of a super-long range style sniper, someone who uses the bow skills back from ye olde days combined with exceptionally refined empathetic senses and eyesight, as well as being able to have a sniper shot from anywhere due to flight t

@Blue I imagine that Aiyami and Amara aren't exactly on the best of terms, usurped power and all that.

Or worse, Aiyami being actually fond of Amara in some fashion, that'd definitely be worse. Like having a crazy aunt who shows up at all the worst times.

I thought mine was a medium size compared to everyone else. Also new players can create new territories for themselves, so land size shouldn’t be a problem.
I'm in a three way bidding war in a discord at the moment for the corpses of my civilization.

Wait what now. Why’s there fighting over the corpses?

The people created by the Shadowed Dancer, when they die, are generally buried/cremated/whatever in accordance with whatever is the local custom where the caravan happens to be that day. They are, however, naturally long-lived so most casualties are the result of accident or mayhem. A life of revelry, singing, dancing and duels is not the safest, after all.

You, Reimu, and Convex all want my corpses.
I love the direction this roleplay has turned. xD

Meanwhile, a traditional Avuvian funeral consists of placing the corpse on a boat with Avuvian fire and other combustibles and shooting a flaming arrow at it as it drifts off to Sea.

Aye, I got the fungi though. :)
Seeing as you piqued my interest in the corpse trade, I believe that you would be the primary buyer of corpses and I can see it as a great way to get some drugs, food and medicine from the mushroom people. Plus we border each other, making the trade easiest. Then it would be Reimu, then the Chef God. The way I see it there are several merchants in the business buying the rights to the corpses of Nova Yoro's poor and those who wish to make a quick buck and selling them to the three interested parties.
