Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

The next few years are going to be horrifying for the entire world. All the while, the media, the Democratic party, Hollywood celebrities and the bureaucrats of the European Union, will insist that the world is in the best state ever. All the while more human rights will be taken away from citizens of first world countries, more petty wars would erupt due to failed leftist diplomacy, multinational corporations would keep gaining more power, more people than ever will lose their livelihoods, taxes will grow higher all across the board while poverty will not drop in any substantial way, and more rioting will happen with non-existent police response. All throughout this the media will keep repeating that the state of the US and the world has never been better, and praise the great, "humane" policies that brought it to that point.

Those are my predictions for the next few years.

First by the way.

Just Biden my time til the hopefully new American tradition of the annual impeachment.
I hope so.

One of the most fraud-ridden Elections in history, and he's supposedly the "most popular"? And he's saying "Democracy prevailed"? Holy shit, I'm laughing so hard it'd make the Joker feel uneased.

He's a fucking commie, and I'm not just saying that because I'm drunk at the moment.

Oh, yeah. The next four years are going to be an epic clusterfuck.

What should be fucking horrifying is all this talk about the need to combat domestic terrorism like how we combated terrorism after 9/11. My real fear is that we are going to see an expansion of our surveillance state which is going to trample over the rights of regular Americans in the name of “safety”

I dunno about ya'll but I refuse to call that fucking Fraud "President".

YOUR BACK!

I missed you soooo much!

C'mere you... :sneaky:

I'm enjoying watching them play the language game again so that white isn't a physical description but a moral one. It lets them pin all the non-whites that refused to vote for their masters as white supremacists. I wish I was joking.

At any rate, I'm waiting to see what becomes of the GOP. The likes of Liz Cheney are already being roasted alive by their constituents and there's a lot of talk of separating off a "Patriot Party" of some sort to usurp the Republicans. As always I'm skeptical of such movements, but for the first time in my life I'm interested in the move. Large segments of the GOP on both the state and federal level proved that they were more interested in maintaining the monoparty than enacting the will of their constituents.

I'm not willing to purity test as far as the left does, there were plenty of reasons to not want to be involved in the electoral fraud scuffle, but anyone who supported the second impeachment or inhibited legitimate audits needs to be gone the next election cycle. Otherwise, we're just going to get real used to 4 AM ballot dumps.

That's probably not a wise tactic.

It is possible the election was stolen, but frankly I don't think it's likely. I don't find it plausible that a massive conspiracy to swing the vote in multiple states, involving numerous precincts, counting stations, etc could have been pulled off without a hint. There should be leaks from the inside. Cell phone recordings of the planning, copies of the emails used to coordinate, etc, and there haven't been.

That doesn't excuse the outright refusal to do a proper audit and ensure that everything was done properly, or the hypocrisy on the part of the media and democratic establishment that insisted 2016 was stolen for years and then did an about face the second it was convenient for them, but it does mean that running around claiming the election was stolen has some issues, and since the 6th, crippling issues. As of right now, that narrative is going to be forever associated with a series of riots that got people killed pointlessly (and gave the dems a new weapon to use against the rest of us....thanks). Unless you have absolutely irrefutable, uncontroverted, crystal clear slam dunk evidence (and you don't), pushing that narrative is not going to work out, because it's going to alienate the people you need to appeal to in order to win next time. And before you go "but they'll just steal it again", there are three issues with that (well, four, but "they didn't steal it the first time" isn't really an acceptable answer to you).

First off, we have 4 years to lay the groundwork now. Get better security in place, start volunteering to work the polls ourselves and get like minded people to do so elsewhere, etc. They can't tamper with a system unless they control it.

Second, the "but muh global pandemic" stuff isn't going to fly next time, no more cheeky moves with mass mail in ballots and the like, those were sold as temporary measures and we have to hold them to that.

And third and most importantly, any operation like this has limits. They can only tip the scales so far, in so many places, if we build a large enough supporter base it doesn't matter how much they cheat in a few spaces if they're drowned out elsewhere. That's what we have to do going forward. Rebuild the party, figure out a game plan and a massage, and take the government back.

This is definitely the biggest issue we have right now. Those idiots on the 6th gave the democrats the excuse and the platform they needed, and it's going to be a tricky thing to stop, but far from impossible.

Place your bets! Place your bets! How long until the Democrats get rid of Biden and put Harris in as President? My money is two years 1 day. So she can have the full ten year term.
I wonder which way the Deep state is gonna "Take care of him".

My take on it (and keep in mind, this is just my personal speculation, although there's some evidence that hints in this direction) is that there was no conspiracy, but a widespread organizational culture of fraud, subtly and/or openly encouraged by Democrats from different levels of the party. You don't necessarily need to coordinate a huge effort across multiple states with bribes, extortion, or threats, if it's just kind of "commonly understood" by left-leaning ballot counters that if one of their peers sees them do something untoward, as long as he's "one of ours" he's probably going to look the other way, and hey, we need to do all in our power to save the country from the fascist Trump, right? We're all in this together, et cetera.

Who knows how many votes were changed like this. Maybe enough and maybe not, but regardless of what you believe in (or how the hypothetical fraud has been accomplished), it's hard to deny that the results and vote counting have been extremely anomalous. Now, you could attribute that to factors other than fraud (maybe the unprecedented turnout of "anti-Trump" voters, for instance) but it's hard to deny that the anomaly does exist. For example, this: List of election bellwether counties in the United States - Wikipedia

I'm familiar with that theory, but it doesn't align with the main election fraud narrative of deliberate, surgically precise fraud in just enough places to swing the election. That theory is a bit more plausible, but has the two problems of being even more impossible to prove that it happened, and that it happened on a large enough scale to swing the results. So, still probably not something you want to run around saying all the time, that's not going to convince people (though it is another reason to impose better controls over elections and to start working the polls yourself).

Yeah.. the fact that there were so many anomalies and they they all benefited Biden leads me to believe there was definitely a considerable amount of fraud.

Likely from multiple levels. And it doesn't need a grand conspiracy. Just a couple locals thinking they're saving the world.

I believe the election was stolen, but I don't believe we were able to present enough evidence to say "this is for sure, this is who did it, now turn over the election."

Unfortunately building a case solid enough to pull something like that off would likely take years. And by then it'll be too late. It was too late weeks ago. We are stuck with this president.

However, we have not seen the end of this.

Hopefully it can lead to some reforms and bring some confidence back to the ballot box.

I feel like worrying about fraud at this point is useless. The argument was made, in court, several times: it failed. Biden's in the White House and going to stay so chanting fraud over and over isn't going to do anything to change that. If there was a chance to do so the well was good and poisoned by idiots rioting and killing people on the 6th.

Energy would be better spent on moving forward rather than continuing to complain about something in the past that can't be changed.

We do not talk about that here. Say who else wants a thread for Biden administration decisions? Wanna title it The Swampening 2: The Swamp Striked Back. But that doesn't sound catchy enough.

"Moving forward," is fixing the system that allowed for the fraud.

Not focusing on the fraud that was allowed to happen, allows it to happen again.

It is vital that we secure our elections and restore trust in the election process, or our democracy is flat out dead.

This is probably THE single most important political issue that we are facing. Nothing else even matters, if we can't have secure, trustworthy elections.

I don't necessarily advocate that pushing this narrative is the best way to go forward, just that it might be the most likely explanation to what happened. The fact that it's difficult to prove and not politically palatable is another matter.

Yeah, people need to stop with the Graceful losing, something needs to be done to fix this in the future.
