It cannot be ruled that there is absolutely no connection with the war in Ukraine.
Russia is preparing defenses in the Kursk and Belgorod Oblasts north of the Ukrainian border. Russian intelligence has already revealed Ukrainian plans for dirty bombs and dam explosions, now it seems like an Invasion of Russia itself is a probability as well. Sad.

Weren't they doing similar wierd moves around the captured NPP and nuclear weapons few months ago? That's an integral part of the scare tactics.
Yes, they were, and now they are spread talk of a Ukrainian 'false flag dirty bomb', which seems like a prelude to using stolen Ukrainian nuclear material to stage a 'deniable' dirty bomb attack.
Supposedly this may just be an up-coming strategic forces exercise, but well, Russia has used the pretense of exercises to launch attacks before.
That would be more of a political-propaganda operation, as the military value of it would be negligible.
Ironic thought of the day: Probably better conditions than those two weeks from mobilized to dead Russians got.
