Russian Invasion of Ukraine 2022

Should point out that aside from propaganda spots in Kyiv, multiple Ukrainian Stores nowhere near the front are reporting food shortages and fuel shortages. The entire economy of Ukraine is coming apart and they don't have the extensive smuggling networks that kept Syria going during its civil war.

Population of Ukraine is 44.62 million, so ~8% of the population has fled. The economic ability of the Ukrainian State to sustain the war without massive aid pouring in is pretty much nil. Then their is the fact that Russia has firm control of settlements totaling another million and a half people. Also the 44.62 million includes people living in the Crimea and DPR and LPR areas.

Updated my, uh, updates. Long story short, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense released a surprisingly detailed update and it more or less tracks with all the OSINT evidence (mostly geolocated video etc.) and prior developments. Basically the Finnish scribblemap is roughly correct.

... now that I put it like that, it seems like an awful lot of work for little reward, but screw it, I'm curious.

Russian hypersonic missile strike on Lvov, Ukraine was well worth the missile it seems.

It's funny because there's exactly as much photographic evidence to support this BDA as there is of the Khinzal's actual existence. 😏

... you do know they share a border with Poland, right?

Someone missed the post last page showing it was a fake.

Or someone confused another attack for the Khinsal. Given all the missiles flying and layers of videos, its possible.

Now shoo. Serious people have things to talk about.

More systematic destruction of Ukrainian Infrastructure. Putin is making a point to the world and Ukraine that he doesn't need the country intact. He is perfectly willing to burn Ukraine to the ground.

Its official now, Uncle Vanya has permission to take over all McDonalds in Russia.

Comrades, all fronts are double feints till they aren't.

Mariupol is lost, UkA has written it off.

Which is struggling to care for the refugees that already came, just got sanctioned by the EU over stupid shit, and doesn't have much excess to help as it gets its gas from Ukraine, but said gas supply was blown up. So its in a pickle and has to figure out how it will even feed its people this year.

Edit with new stuff:

Blown bridge is no obstacle to the Comrade Farmers. This will do till the Comrade Engineers fix it.

Summing up. A long campaign was indeed planned for. UkA's air defense strategy is top notch and didn't let itself be passively destroyed like Iraq's. Russia has air dominance and can support its critical areas which means the UkA counter-attacks can't achieve decisive results, and Russia is systematically wiping out UkA's ability to continue to contest the sky.

This is what a true fight amongst peer competitors looks like.

Once the S-300 series is neutralized, the Russians can begin carpet bombing attacks with their strategic bomber fleets with acceptable risks as they define it.

The Comrade is right. Nothing to see here Comrades. "Hides the secret plan to invade Lvov"

You know they're in NATO, right?

That gigantic alliance that's already sent billions of dollars of weapons and supplies into Ukraine? Which includes the wealthiest country on Earth, who's President just specifically announced a multinational humanitarian aid effort?

Once the S-300 series is neutralized, the Russians can begin carpet bombing attacks with their strategic bomber fleets with acceptable risks as they define it.

So lemme get this straight. You're of the opinion that the three million refugees already created by this war are already threatening a NATO member states' ability to feed its people, and you think NATO would sit by quietly while the Russian Federation engaged in systematic mass murder guaranteed to generate millions more refugees?🤔

I wonder why the Ukrainian military didn't confiscate the phones from their foreign volunteers. You would think that not having a phone on the battle field would make more sense, since loose lips sink ships, or in this case, loose phones attract drones.

Do those foreign fighters even have common sense though?

Sounds like Headline chasing speculation considering the site struck was already known as a location for personnel and supplies coming from the West

As things stand they are winning the war, the Ukrainians are barely holding on and western aid is being captured in such large numbers by Russian troops they are even training on them. What the Russians don't capture, gets blown up before it even gets to fire. Less than 1% of NATO lethal aid even gets fired at Russian Troops. The overwhelming vast majority of Russian losses are from Soviet base weaponry that they and Ukraine use.
There is literally not a single thing correct in this entire paragraph.

There is literally not a single thing correct in this entire paragraph.

All of it is correct and you have been consistently wrong and repeatably corrected going back dozens and dozens of pages. Ukraine is losing the war, all they are doing now is dying as martyrs, martyrs who will be forgotten. The sanctions won't work and the US is in complete collapse along with the EU. Its over. UkA has shown they aren't cowards and can give up the fight with an honorable surrender that spare the cities further siege warfare. If they don't, Putin will proceed to destroy any city that defies him with grid fire artillery till the rubble is rubble.

UkA counter-attack near Kyiv failed and Russians took the Panzerfausts they left behind.

These are kids they are throwing out in counter-attacks. UkA is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Russian Forces attacking on the Kyiv Front.

More captured Western ATGMs.

Comrade @Agent23 , call your reputable Slavic Business Partner, we got more weapons for those looking for freedom.

Statement of the RuA MoD and looking at the ample video footage they have been pushing out on telegram and elsewhere, this list is accurate and showcases that UkA is net losing vehicles despite occasional captures. UkA is also losing its ability to maintain equipment and keep themselves fueled as well.

Again Russia is not the biggest Food exporter. Which Countries Export the Most Food?

And again tonnage, not dollar value matters, and Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan (A Russian satellite) account for 40% of the wheat supply, Russia alone growing twice what the US does. Russia also controls the fertilizer market.

So the Middle East and India are not going to go along with sanctions, because hungry people overthrow governments. And the US is already seeing an explosion in lines at food banks due to rising food costs. EU nations are stopping food exports.

So this dollar value is useless compared to actual fucking tonnage. Get me tonnage exported and we will go from their bud.

Wait, I've heard this one before. "Our arrows will blot out the sun," right? Maybe if the Ukrainians weren't demonstrating consistently excellent counterbattery skills, aided in no small part by Russian forces talking on fucking commercial Chinese walkie-talkies that give away their position with every broadcast and can be jammed by someone playing music over their kid's baby monitor. Meanwhile the big scary thermobarics the media was telling us would "level the cities" is instead being used by Russians for counterbattery because they can't seem to hit a flock of barns from inside the middle barn otherwise (and they didn't even hit the center of the damn target with that one.) And if they run low on artillery, don't you worry. We're sending them some fun new toys that outrange the majority of Russian artillery, is too small for air defenses to be effective against and has sensors good enough to hunt down the ammo dump and detonate it, which will put the whole gun battery out of action, just like the Ukies did at Mykolaiv. That is, if they don't just slip out into the woods and sneak close enough with a 60mm mortar.

And they will. Because, you see, this isn't about honor to the Ukrainians. Not after a mob of looting, thieving barbarians invaded their land and started systematically murdering their wives and children to force them to capitulate. These people hate, now. You can't even conceive of the word. These people will tear the bricks out of their own churches to throw them at Russians, now. They'll kill with with bare fucking hands, if they have to.

And we're giving them thousands of the best anti-tank weapons ever produced.

We'll see who stacks who.

Ukrainians “hate” Russians so much that some in the occupied territories are currently turning in guns to the Russians. Not exactly the “resistance” Sean Hannity fantasized about arming “like the mujahadeen”.

More posts moved to the Donb Ass Thread. This thread is for reporting on events happening in the War itself.

All other tangents include food or the inevitable plunge of the petrodollar or whatever, as well as posts bickering about sources, or peoples unsubstantiated hot takes/amateur commentary, or whining about the WEF/Globohomo or other nonsense will be pruned into the Donb Ass Thread.

Also no multiposting. This is more for @TheRejectionist who probably didn't get the memo from earlier staff posts.
