Meanwhile the third forum was made/moved to help iron out redundancy and confusion as to what defines a thead belonging to either the 'ASB', 'What If,' and "The War College" Sub-forums in an attempt to avoid a large amount of redundancy and confusing thread placement. - "A Roman Legion Vs. A Greek Phalanx" is more of a question for the The War College because it features discussion primarily on the basics of tactics of two distinct historical armies and the same would apply to most historical figures with some exceptions.
- "Optimus Prime Vs. Godzilla" is a clear Versus and What-Ifs question owning to the fact that neither creature/individual is historical outside popular culture.
- "A Portal Between Earth 1940 and Earth 1914" or "Britain moved to the Eastern U.S. Seaboard in 1774" are both clear cut examples of an Alien Space Bats, Fantasy & Science Fiction scenario as both are clear examples of historic societies of different periods or historical interactions based on cause an effect both initiated via an out of scientific context method and based primarily around history discussion as a whole.
- "WW2 Vs. Modern U.S.A" is another discussion for The War College as it's again more about tactics or two armies fighting each other over historic nuance, although I can see why some would think it could be a 'Vs'. or 'What If' however if the question is phrased to be more of a question of how politically and culturally, they interact or what both thinks of the other, it goes to ASB.
- "Teddy Roosevelt (1900) Vs Vladmir Putin (2010) Isn't a question that's tactical or military minded enough for 'The War College' is too historical for 'Vs. and What-if's' and not something I think that needs to be repeatedly cluttering up ASB... (Perhaps a Thread for "Frivolous Vs. of Historic Figures" in ASB is needed to keep future clutter to a minimal?)
- "What if: Optimus Prime Emerges from a Portal at the Battle of Gettysburg and aids the Union?" Is probably the biggest type of question we will have trouble sorting as it's a definitive mix of all categories, it's a 'What If' with a clear sci-fi character but coupled with a historic battle and historical discussion of ramifications as well as interactions in its aftermath, although I think on this example The War College is out of the running as it's less of a matter of tactics and more a matter of historical/sci-fi discussion.
